Meadow Brome

Meadow Brome is an introduced, long-lived, cool-season perennial primarily used for forage production. It is highly palatable to all classes of livestock and wildlife and performs well when utilized for both haying or grazing purposes. Meadow Brome is much less aggressive in its rhizome spread and does not overtake areas as Smooth Brome does which makes it a more desirable forage species in many scenarios.
