Description
Winter Wonder is a trio of winter annuals that promotes soil biology through spring. The mix helps soil gain nitrogen and is best used as a soil builder with spring growth.

Planting
- Planting Time: Late summer through fall
- Full Mix Seeding Rate: 50 lbs/acre
- Ideal Seed Depth: Broadcast: 0″ | Drilled: 3/4″
Fertility
Fertilizer is not needed unless you plan on using the rye as a feed crop the following spring. If that’s the case, consider applying 25-50 lbs/acre of Nitrogen to increase biomass yield.
Management
Aerial Application can start 2 weeks prior to defoliation and could continue up to harvest. If drilling post-harvest ensure there are three weeks left in the growing season for germination and growth. All species will survive the winter and start growing in the spring. Your burndown should include Glyphosate and a broadleaf herbicide if rotating back to a cash crop.
