- Butte: Butte offers, high fire tolerance, slightly higher salinity tolerance, mid-summer bloom, high seedling vigor, and slow vegetative spread rate when compared to side-oat grama.
- El Reno: El Reno is a mid-summer bloom compared to a mid-spring bloom. El Reno also presents high seed abundance and high seedling vigor.
